Next, we will go to visit a winery in Utiel Requena, where we can taste the best wines from the area known as “the altiplano / plateau” because of a plateau with an average altitude of 700m. With a vineyard area of more than 40,000 hectares, 80% of the plantations are of the Bobal variety, an almost exclusive grape from the D.O Utiel-Requena and increasingly valued. For its purpose, we will go to the Asador de Zarra, where we will have lunch to taste the products of this inland area of the province of Valencia.
In the afternoon, we will go to the Almez craft workshop. With this route you will get to know a way of life that is deeply rooted in the populations of this valley. Culture and artisan tradition that has been transmitted from father to son, from generation to generation, up to the present day.
